If I Were A Vampire
If I turned into a vampire, I would have no choice but to turn Becky into a vampire too. It would be impossible to live an eternal life without my best friend. Life without Becky would be too boring and meaningless. Maybe, we could become a super vampire team that helped the good to catch the bad. Every night, we would patrol the city to make sure everyone was safe from evil. If we were thirsty, we would buy blood from the blood bank. That way we could remain strong vampires by drinking human blood without killing anyone. Life could be fun and interesting if we were a vampire team......

My Master Plan For A Thanksgiving Dinner
How do you have a spotless kitchen for Thanksgiving dinner? Easy, just be like me: someone who does not know how to cook, and need to prepare a Thanksgiving dinner for twelve people. First, you need to find someone who talks about cooking all the time and beg him/her to cook some food for you. I happen to know a co-worker who is like that at my current work place. I started slowly by asking him how to cook a turkey. Then I pretended it was just too hard for me to do it myself since I did not have any cooking experience........

Kitties VS Dogs
One of the kitties was close to Tiger’s feet. The kitty looked up and “meowed” at him with terrified eyes. Tiger speedily lowered his head and scooped up the victim in his mouth. We all screamed at the same time and I yanked Tiger’s leash so he would drop the poor kitty. A black little fur ball was dropped from Tiger’s mouth and I took the opportunity to push Tiger and Kuma out the door. I was horrified and thought the kitty was hurt. Fortunately, all the kittens were still in one piece.....

Tiger's Eye Surgery
Tiger was whining the whole night last night. I tried to comfort him by petting his head, but that just made him whine even more. “It’s OK, Tiger.” I murmured with an “I know what you are going through” tone. Tiger, who was lying by my feet, with a dish around his neck, looked at me with his sad eyes. He stood up when he saw me looking his way and laid his head on my chest. I kissed him and put my chin on top of his head wishing so much that I could take his pain away....

Doggie Car Accident
“OH-MY-GOD!” were the first 3 words I heard from Becky when we saw a dog get run over by a car in front of us. A mid-size dog ran into the street and her back leg was run over by a car. The black dog immediately ran back to the residential street she had run out from. As I drove by the street and came to a stop at the curb, I saw a young man holding the dog down. I was relieved, assuming he was the owner of the dog. I let Becky out of the car, made a U-turn and parked on the corner of the street......

Mia - The Gentle German Shepherd
Mia, a dog from the SSPCA, stole my heart the Saturday after Thanksgiving. I took Mia out for a mobile adoption on November 28th. She is a 3 year-old German shepherd mix. Mia weights around 120 lbs, but is a total gentle giant. When I took her out for a walk, she lean her body again my leg, almost seemed like she was afraid I would leave her sight when she was not paying attention. She never yanked or pulled the leash. When I sat down, she would jump up and put her two front paws....

Kuma - The Akita Introduction
Kuma, my Akita, has always had issues with his back legs. When he sits, it looks wrong. When normal dogs sits down all four paws touch the ground. Not Kuma. When he sits down one of his back legs lays flat on the ground and it looks like he sat on one of his legs. At first, I just thought he was lazy. I tried to correct him every time I asked him to sit. However, I never had any success with it. At 10 months old, Kuma was already 100 lbs. When I took him to the Vet, they told me Kuma was obese....
