Condo Purchase Experience
A few years ago we decided to sell our house that we had been living in for over 11 years. The house is located in northeast Sacramento in a place called “Garden of the Gods”. It is on the border line between Sacramento and Carmichael. The streets around there are named after the Greek gods, which gives the neighborhood its name. The street I used to live on is called Ulysses Drive. The street is wider than normal residential streets. Even if there are cars parked on both sides of the street, there is still plenty of space to drive. The neighbors in the area are nice and friendly. We love the neighborhood so much that after we sold our house we decided to buy a house just a few blocks away.....

Before Selling Our House

REDC Home Auction
We got a condo at a very cheap price. However, we had never seen this condo before. It was not on our list of the houses/condos we were looking for. Now, we had no choice but to buy it. The REDC had clearly explained that once you made a bid and the announcer had announced “Sold”, you were committed to buy the property. Otherwise you would lose the $5,000 deposit money. We signed all the paperwork and provided the bank with all of our financial information. As we walked out of the auction, Becky said, “I hope next time we will try to behave”. I told her with us, things would never happen the way we want them to. Who knows what will happen next time.......
